Twelve years ago Rubiola Mortgage and Realty opened its doors for business. Back then, many people said it wouldn’t survive: “There was just too much competition.” The critics were partly right; plenty of tough competition well-entrenched in the mortgage and real estate industry existed in Alamo Heights and the surrounding areas. But the Rubiola brothers had a plan that would set them apart from the others. Today, 12 years later, they are seeing the fruits of their hard-work, planning and innovation.
Outside-the-box thinking, staying technologically advanced and perfecting human relations has been largely responsible for the company’s growth from 12 to 55 agents since November of 2008. Part of this success can be attributed to their fundamental understanding of the consumer.

This understanding has led the company to detour from strict adherence to traditional real estate practices and adopt a global web-based business approach. J.C. And, in addition to updating their website, www.rubiola.com, they have also begun integrating an intranet for agent use that will provide frequent updates on everything from policy changes to leads. “In the end, we realize that our business depends on the success of our Realtors ® and employees, so we are more than willing to adapt to meet the needs of the ever-changing real estate market and leverage technology to do so,” says Boldt.

The company has also joined the Highland Lakes Multiple Listing Service to better service clients in and around Horseshoe Bay and surrounding areas. Relationships with a variety of industry leaders have also been established through residential and commercial transactions, and by working with relocation specialists such as Altair and EDS to help relocate HEB, AT&T and Whataburger employees.
